Report on the Akron Aeros Ballgame

On Wednesday August 4th, a group of us went to Canal Fulton Park to see the Aeros play baseball against the Altoona Curve. It had rained all day, but by 7:00 PM the weather cleared and we didn’t get rained out. It was a great game, only I’m sorry to say Altoona beat the Aeros 12 to 7.

It was amazing to see how many balls got hit into the stands where the fans sat! Halftime entertainment was also very amusing. Akron’s little folk know how to put on a show!

The walkway was filled with concessions and vendors, and they even had cotton candy! We all had a good time and would like to go again.
