Another Support Group
Beginning for TBI Survivors Only

Charlie Morris will begin another support group
for TBI survivors only. Charlie has experience
in peer counseling Veterans with Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder. Now, he wants to give of
himself to his peers affected by TBI as well.
The new rap session will be
offered on the second Monday of the month
alongside the currently running support group.
Survivors will have a choice as to which group
they wish to attend.
Charlie is a Vietnam TBI
survivor. He was a crew gunner on a Navy attack
helicopter squadron. While on a mission in
January 1971, her was shot as he was sitting in
the open helicopter door. After recovering,
Charlie graduated from Kent State University,
and taught school at Stow High School until
1995. He is currently in active retirement.
Besides volunteering with the Veterans and
Ballinger Clubhouse, Charlie runs his own
business.
